Who we are

Arlington International Consultancy Ltd. (“Arlington”, “we”, “us”) is a licensed Toyota spare parts dealership with its head office and showroom at 29 Tai Solarin Street, 5th Avenue, Gwarinpa, Abuja, Nigeria, and garage cubicle locations in Abuja and Lagos. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website, at our counters and over the phone.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@arlingtonconsultancyltd.com or on 08172081986.

Information we collect

When you place an order, request a quote, create a trade account, submit an enquiry or subscribe to updates, we collect the details you give us. When you browse, we also collect limited technical information.

Why we use it

We use your information to confirm fitment of a part to your vehicle, process and fulfil your order, issue your invoice and receipt, arrange delivery or pickup, handle warranty and returns, keep our accounts and tax records, prevent fraud, and answer your questions.

Where you have opted in, we use your email address or phone number to send order updates, restock alerts for parts you asked about, and occasional offers. You can opt out of marketing at any time without affecting your orders.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary information with parties who help us trade: payment providers (to collect payment and reconcile it to your invoice), logistics and dispatch partners (to deliver your order), our accountants and auditors (for statutory reporting), and law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to respond.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not share your vehicle details with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Order, invoice and warranty records are kept for seven years to meet Nigerian accounting and tax requirements. Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction are kept for 24 months. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe and then suppressed. Call recordings and CCTV footage, where retained, are held for a maximum of 90 days unless required for an investigation.

How we protect it

The site runs over HTTPS with a valid SSL certificate. Passwords are stored using one-way hashing, never in readable form. Access to customer, order and finance records inside our management platform is role-based, restricted by location, and every create, edit and delete action is written to an audit log with the user, date and time. Database backups are encrypted.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, ask us to delete data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep, object to marketing, or ask us to restrict how we use your data.

Send requests to info@arlingtonconsultancyltd.com with enough detail for us to identify you. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your cart, session and selected location working, and analytics cookies to measure site performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the shop and checkout need essential cookies to function.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last reviewed, and material changes affecting your rights are announced clearly on the website.
