Refund and Returns Policy
What can be returned, in what condition, within what time, and how quickly you get your money back.

The short version
If we supplied the wrong part or the part is faulty, we make it right at no cost to you. If you ordered the wrong part yourself, tell us within 48 hours and return it unused and unopened within 7 days for an exchange, subject to the exclusions below.
Returns window
48 hours from collection or delivery to notify us, 7 calendar days to return the item. Warranty claims are separate from returns and run for the warranty period shown on the part.

What cannot be returned
How to start a return
Call or WhatsApp 08172081986, or reply to your order confirmation email, quoting your order ID (for example ARL-2026-000123). Tell us what you are returning and why. We will confirm the location to return it to — usually the counter you bought from — and issue a Return Authorisation reference.
Please do not send goods back before we issue that reference: an unauthorised return cannot be matched to your order and may be refused at the counter.
Refund timelines
Once the returned part has been inspected and approved, refunds are processed within 5 to 10 working days. Card and transfer payments are refunded to the account the payment came from. Refunds for cash counter sales are paid by bank transfer to the account name on the original invoice.
Where you paid with a payment platform, the funds move back through that platform and the time it takes to reflect depends partly on your bank. We will send you the refund reference so you can follow it up.
Exchanges
If you need a different part instead of your money back, we can usually exchange same-day from the counter if the replacement is in stock at that location. If the replacement is held at another Arlington location, we arrange an internal transfer at no extra cost — you will be told the expected date at the counter.
Warranty claims
Warranty covers manufacturing defect in the part supplied. It does not cover incorrect fitment, contamination, overheating from a separate fault, accident damage or normal wear. Claims require the invoice, the part, and the vehicle's service history where an engine, gearbox or electrical item is involved.
Where a part is confirmed faulty under warranty, we replace it. Labour is not reimbursed. Where a workshop other than an Arlington-referred fitter installed the part and the failure is attributable to that fitment, the claim sits with the fitter.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes your rights under Nigerian consumer protection law. Where a part is not of satisfactory quality or not fit for the purpose we were told it was for, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of the time limits described here.
